Why are you at Starter School?
To learn how to develop ideas and solve business problems.
Is there one experience that stands out for you at Starter School?
The kindness and respect students show at Starter School everyday. There is always someone ready to lend a helping hand.
What was the first day of Starter School like?
Thinking that I should probably get a Mac.
What makes Starter School different than other classes/schools you've been to?
TIME TIME TIME. You get out of it what you put into it.
What are you building right now?
I'm building a wheel website that will accept payments with Bitcoin. Building a website for wheels and tires being able to accept Bitcoin as payment seemed like a good way to mix my experience with wheels and taking advantage of being one of the first to offer wheels for Bitcoin. Since these items can go into the thousands, the current 3% processing fee stinks. If that money can be saved by the consumer then I'm hoping for more sales.
Who or what inspires you and why?
Work, family, and Starter School. At work, I am surrounded by individuals who have many years in the industry and best approaches from experience. At Starter School, everyone is able to create really interesting projects, and seeing what is built helps motivate me.
What's something you've done in your life that you're most proud of?
2005-2006 did a year overseas (Iraq).
What's one thing that you have been surprised by at Starter School?
Jack Mallers. Sometimes I think he's superhuman.
